| Ice Dogs Capture the Hampton Tournament Banner!!! |

The North River Ice Dogs traveled to Hampton, New Brunswick (March 5-7, 2010) to participate in the Kent March Break Tournament. After a couple of very close games against the Fredericton Bruins (3-1 Win) and Riverview Rebels (3-3 Tie), the Ice Dogs prevailed against the Grand Lake Wild (5-1 Win) to make it to the play-offs. The Ice Dogs never looked back and after a convincing 8-1 win against the Fredericton Rangers which set up an 'ALL DOG' Final, the Ice Dogs came through against the home team Hampton K9s with a 7-0 win to take the championship. Congratulations team! Thanks to the coaches and trainer and all the elders and players for making the weekend such a success. Not only was the hockey fun, but everyone enjoyed the pool, shopping, Vitos, equipment room, etc.
